My name is Mat Ortiz and I am the proud owner of Someday Eternal. I realize that many of you visiting this page may not know me personally so I wanted to share a little about me, and for those that know me I want to share what has been going on the past few months (2024). For as long as I can remember I have doubted myself and questioned if everything I do or create is good enough so much so that it leads nowhere. I have been a musician since I was 7 years old and have not released one of the hundreds of songs I have written, I have been drawing continuously since I was a kid and have not released or sold one piece of art, all due to doubt and insecurity. I have worked on a few projects with other people in the creative world and I even post silly covers on instagram, but nothing of my own design.

April 27th, 2024 I went into the ER and things rapidly changed from there, and on May 2nd I had to have an emergency surgery. After spending a month in the hospital I was able to return home and heal naturally until my next surgery coming up at the end of 2024. This experience strengthened my Trust in God and also showed me a whole new level of God’s faithfulness. In the midst of this life changing season I've been motivated and inspired by God to begin releasing all of the things God has placed on my heart. This decision allows me the freedom and platform to hopefully inspire you to do the same. You could expect anything from music, art, apparel, and whatever else God inspires me to do. This is not an apparel company, but a faith based, God first, creative company. The “Houston in God we trust tee” and “Trust God Lion tee” were both inspired out of my experience in the hospital, and these first two designs will also be recreated and released as art (again not JUST an apparel company).

You have been intentionally designed by God and he has a calling and purpose for your life, I pray and hope that I can inspire you to not wait. God calls us to take action and trust him in the process. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for being a part of Someday Eternal.
